Jelisaveta represents lenders and borrowers in cross-border and domestic financing transactions, acquisitions and restructurings.

Jelisaveta has extensive experience advising clients on complex debt financing, security and inter-creditor issues. She advises clients at all levels of the capital structure with deal experience covering a variety of sectors, including real estate, energy, consumer goods, aviation, leisure, manufacturing and technology. Jelisaveta also works with private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies to finance various acquisitions and secure funding.

Representative experience includes advising:

• Private equity investor on EUR 750 million recapitalization of a leading Serbian consumer group
• Private equity investor on debt restructuring and financing aspects of its exit from leading Serbian confectionery group, recognized as 2019 deal of the year by a leading legal publication
• Private equity investor on EUR 43 million debt restructuring and recapitalization of the largest Serbian healthcare provider
• Syndicate of lenders on a string of financing deals for Serbia’s state-owned telecom operator, totalling more than EUR 1 billion
• Syndicate of lenders on EUR 155 million wind park financing, recognized as 2022 deal of the year by a leading legal publication
• International developer on EUR 125 million financing of the largest regional shopping mall
• International developer on EUR 65 million of a St. Regis-branded mixed-use project
• International lender on a string of aircraft financing deals for Serbia’s flagship carrier, totalling USD 36 million
• Major regional developer on the sale of its Belgrade office portfolio, the largest transaction of its kind in Serbia to date
